I am sharing two of my recent papers, soon to be published in 関東学院大学国際文化学部 OLIVA 第31号 (2024) (Kanto Gakuin University, Faculty of International Culture, OLIVA No. 31, 2024). The first is a class report on the use of student-generated materials in university EFL courses. The second paper discusses content-based teaching and learning (CBLT) in higher education.

It was a long time in the making.

There was a lot of procrastination.

The days and days of tripping over nearly a hundred questionnaires spread all over the floor.  The hours and hours spent pondering the statistics.  The books, the journals, the papers, references, references, references.

It is done.

A-.

Honours.

Cum Laude.

For anyone that is interested in what teachers in a Japanese university teaching English to university students in a Japanese university, and what students in a Japanese university learning English feel about the use of the students’ L1 in classroom, I attach my findings for your perusal.
